i was 1 second away from jumping on this until I read your previous post from about 2 months back that you installed this BOV that it wasn't working properly...

I'm willing to bet that can be attributed to installer error... its not like he is selling a used cylinder head that he put together as a DIY. You really can't do anything to a BOV to not make it work short of hitting it with a hammer.

Ha ha. Actually, thats the way the BOV is supposed to work because the engine from 335i maxes its boost at about 4.5K RPM and thats why the BOV doesnt blow off past it. I got used to driving it and now everything is perfect and working fine. The only reason why i am selling it is beucase i want the Dinan software and i need some money. Otherwise i am not really loosing any pressure on the boost, and i attract the most attention with the car. I love it and it drives the way its supposed to drive. To double checked i actually called the AA corparate and they told me pretty much the same thing. The BOV is not going to blow off at 6K rpm because the car is not at its full Boost.

Just an FYI

So if you want to reconsider please let me know. Thanks

I don't mean to fill your FS thread with OT crap, but that's not really true. Your BOV will vent whenever your throttle plate closes, it has nothing to do with passing max boost or anything like that. When you drive your car at WOT, since it has drive by wire, it actually keep the throttle plate open when shifting fast unlike a traditional throttle cable that would close instantly when you came off the gas and it would vent immediately. In any case, there is nothing wrong with your BOV then, just your explanation of the way it works.

I personally saw his car and BOV works fine ... sounds very nice too ... i just spent my money on Forge DV ... otherwise i would get it ...
