I priced the 135 on bmwusa.com... It gets up into the 40s, even high 40s, very quickly.

High 40s if you order 80-90% of options. e90 335i's advantage is better dealer side discounts.

Anyways, this topic has been beaten to death and then some more.

That's the first thing I noticed. I hate how the 1 series sides curve upwards towards the front fender like they do on the Z4. The new side skirt design tricks the eye into making the car look more aggressive. Good move BMW.

Overall I think the 135i looks pretty damn good, though I would straighten the soggy sides a bit and make the headlights a tad smaller. Can't wait to see this thing in person.

I actually like how the car looks a lot, both interior and exterior.... Kinda regret getting a e90 last year.... ah well my old beater was dying anyways.... not like I had a choice..... Maybe next car, maybe.... Even tho I know I'd miss those rear 2 doors.......

Oh, and 300hp on this friggin small car is CRAZY. In Canada a Japanese WRX, heavier w/ the same power is actually pricier than the German 135i!

I think the side profile of the 1 is excellent... It looks different and it looks athletic. The back... I can live with... I think it reminds me of the first generation Elantra... but you can also argue it has the BMW's classic L shaped lights... It is a good looking design though...

What really bothers me are the headlights... You see, I believe a BMW should look intimidating.. Not shouty like a body builder, but like a quiet, menacing stare of a professional assassin wearing a really nice suite. The 1's front looks like a wide eyed cutie-pie.. Not unlike ->

Even though... I just can't ignore a small, lightweight car with 300+hp....
