OEM glovebox torch - can someone confirm this is it?
As you may know, in Europe we have to order the torch as an accessory
. I can't say I will really ever need one, but I can't stand the idea of having an empty socket in the glovebox, so I have been looking on eBay for them. Can someone please confirm that they look like this, before I start bidding? Thanks ![]()

Yep that's it...I saw a few lighter colored ones on ebay (kind of off white)...not sure if those would fit in the e90s or if all the flashlights have universal fit...

I have that in my E46, but I'd invest in a more powerful light. For example, I keep a high intensity LED flashlight in my car. (I've actually had to use that BMW flashlight, and it wasn't very good.)

Hi Paul
My E90 glovebox torch looks like that. In the UK it is standard (as it was in my E46). It comes in handy from time to time, but it is just a small torch, similar power to something that is powered from 2xAA batteries. For years in case of emergengy, I've also carried a powerful halogen hand light that works from the cigarette lighter socket. I'm still carrying it in the storage where the spare wheel isn't. I never needed it for the E46 and hopefully will not for the E90 (everything crossed) |

My dealer specifically showed me this torch when I took delivery of the car. I haven't used it yet but it looks like it can be useful in time of need
