E90 tires flat warning

Need some help, I've been getting this red 'tyre flat' error on the display out of nowhere on my way home. Checked the tires, everything's fine.

I tried resetting the tires settings throught the car's computer, but the error is still displayed. Any idea how to get rid of this? or what might be the problem? Thz~

Are you sure that you are actually resetting the sensor? And does the error msg go away and then return, or does it never go away?

It went away for 5 secs, then pops back in. I'm pretty sure i did the right thing, followed the book manual. though i noticed, in the manual, the reset option is written as 'INIT' instead of 'RESET'

Yeah that stands for "Initialize". If I were to venture a guess, I would say faulty/defective sensor. Moisture or dirt could have fouled the connector.

remember, they're run-flats so they'll look okay but make sure there is air. If air is present, it mostly likely is a faulty sensor covered under warranty.

Mine did it too, took it to the dealer and they had to go in with the scan tool and reset it because the reset process from the contol stalk wouldn't work.
