Mine was from M-force...like I said, it needed a little flex, but not to the extreme that the OP is stating.

Mine IS flush just like it is on the real M3. Got it from Jlevi. It is flexible so you need to have at least 2 people to position it before adhereing it. I taped mine in place with masking tape, sliced the tape strips, positioned the center stip and then lined up the rest of the tape strips as I progressively went from center to end of the spoiler, ON SIDE AT A TIME.

The M3 lip does not sit flush against the end of the trunk. There is clear separation. I ordered mine from Carkings and the fitment was perfect. I chose to do close to flush but not all the way, so in-between the OEM M3 and sitting flush as most people have it.

I've seen about 5 M3's so far and none of them are flush, including the one at the detroit auto show. They sit about 1/2 inch in. If you take a look and the small M6 spoiler that is just a bump thats molded into the trunk it also sits in about 1/2 inch.

I installed my m3 spoiler on flush but now think that I prefer it about 1 centimeter back. Does anyone know how difficult it will be for me to remove the spoiler (3M tape was used) and redo it? How would I go about doing that? (Without damaging the paint of course).

Exactly. Good call Soni. I should be getting mine next week. Can't wait to install it. It will be a very good compliment to my Dinan flash I'm getting this weekend
