The price of oil has just about reached the point where it will go no higher. The graph stops @ $110/barrel!

Well at least we are having fun with our cars. Look at the bright side. When I was in Europe doing my ED in December I paid $8.50 per gallon.

haha thats what I like about NJ. I think I need to move there. Its been like 3.00-3.20 for gas over the past 2 months. Long Island has gone up and down so damned much it pisses me off. I never tank up in LI anymore. The beater gets such good gas mileage, like 28mpg on the highway, I actually save $3-5 bucks...even with the hike in tolls starting sunday.....Paying 3.20 vs 3.65 in NY, I did the math and even with the gas lost in transit (i.e to and from NJ), I still manage to save.

I havent put gas in either of my cars from Long Island in like 3 months..lol

I guess my 328i would be considered a beater....my avg mpg is 26.1 since the day I got it...never reset the OBC.

wow thats pretty good.

I think over 23k miles, I averaged 22 in the 335. A lot of it was stop and go traffic, and when accelerating normally, it still sucks down a lot of gas..once you get to cruising speed though, its like 30-32 all day long..

I get more than that in my daily commuter/beater.... Civic vx at 55mpg FTW!!!

I get about 25mpg in my 335i!

paying for gas sucks... Too many investors putting their money in commodities and driving the price of oil up. It's stupid and of course no one in the fed wants to admit that inflation is on the rise and that we're in a recession... oh well I guess when I get my "stimulus package" check in the mail, I'll fill up my car.
