how bad is it to mix-and-match tires?

I currently have AVON tires.
I only bought them because they seem like the most bang for the buck. (but now they are getting HORRIBLE reviews. wtf..)

Stupid me however, I bought AVON M500 tech(ultra hi-perf. summer) for the rears, and AVON M550 tech(ultra hi-perf. all season) for the fronts.

One of my rear tire got flat, so I need to replace just one.

I was wondering how bad would it be to match my tires like this.

Front: AVON M550 / AVON M550
Rear: AVON M500 / AVON M550

All 3 other tires are all-season tires, but one of them is summer.
Anyone think this is a bad idea? Should I just stick with summer tires in the rear?

Well, if you're going to be purchasing one more tire... I'd highly recommend getting another Avon 550, but if you can't find it, then yes, just go with the summer tires in the rear. Even though the rears are going to wear faster, this setup should maintain the safer under-steer handling characteristic the car sedan should have. The M500 should grip better and should therefore be mounted in the rear.

Take the chance and buy 2 AVON M550 for the rear wheels. Different tires on an axle are a bad idea.

I say change both rear ones...
having one worn out on the right, and a new one on the left... not a good idea..

I always change 2 tyres at a time..
