NY Auto Show/ BMW Event - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Did anyone go the the BMW CCA Event at the NY Auto Show this morning?

Believe it or not, several people were hating on my 335i! Especially the product manager for the 1 series. He "can't wait to get rid of his 335 for a 135" "It feels so much faster" he said.

Some other dude was on about how you get SO MUCH MORE with an M3. I don't disagree with that, but why hate on the 335?

Are east coast BMW geeks jerks? I'm beginning to think so.

There were presentations by BMW NA folks. They were somewhat informative.

The most interesting thing I discovered was how much I did not like the Audi S5 interior - the rear seat is extremely cramped.

Another nice tidbit was that got to try out the x6 back seat. I just fit without my head rubbing. If you 're over 6ft, don't get back there.

Who cares what other people think about your car? I know I don't.

Alot of people hate on the M3 too, but i dont let that bother me.

they just hate because it is the most badass of the bmw's..yeaa ok the m5, the m3, the 6 series..but if you have watched video's a 335 with a PROcede/dinan flash and maybe an exhaust..performs just as an m3/m5..or close to it..except u aren't wasting all that money on the gas for the bigger engine..and at least it also comes available with an AWD system

..perfect choice for the northeastern US

We just visited the auto show on Friday, if anyone here happens to go.. bring your BMW key and show it to the person at the bottom of the stairs, they will let you go into the VIP area for free. There are couches, free coffee and drinks. Its really nice how BMW takes care of its customers!

yeah i went up there very nice. They had the e92 m3 there in M-DCT and i acutally liked It. Took a few pics but to lazy to upload them. Btw the GT-R and Zr1 in grey stole the show for me.

yep...they've been doing that for years! mercedes followed suit as well so im gonna bring my mercedes key too. lol
