Spring has sprung...

I finally got a good day to get Rex reshod with the new wheels and locks. They are so much quieter than the Bridgestone "Turanza" EL42s. It looks like a completely different vehicle.

That's some improvement!
It's persuading me to get rid of my radials and get the Type 189s

Wink

"He" certainly looks good in his new "shoes".

Looking forward to meeting you & "Rex" again, at UK5, Floyd.

All the best.

Actually, that's a six inch piece of a 2x4 I used as a chock when putting on the left rear. I couldn't move block after getting the car back on it's feet.

That makes a nice change. A nice set of alloys does finish off the car nicely, I don't regret my upgrade even though BMW tend to gouge you on price.

The M Sport wheels look a lot better alright. The car is so much more striking looking. Nice Mod

Nope. Same day, different times, different angle.

+1 Did you also wash/wax the car between shots? or Photoshop trickery

Nope. The car never moved more than an inch, thanks to the block of wood and the handbrake. No photoshop, either, as if I'd know how. I do need to have it washed before taking it to get the scratch and dent some A.W. put on the right rear door Saturday fixed. The dent is visible in the first picture straight down from the handle and level with the top of the RR rim at the reflection color change. Pisser as I'm likely to sell the car next month (no April Fool's joke, either) if the pricing on a 2009 is to my liking .
