DIY for front aero lip install ?

Is there a DIY for the coupe (e92) front aero lip install? I've searched but can't find it. Thanks!

I wasn't able to find any either.
All I know is that there is 5 screws that on the bottom of the oem bumper.
Take them off, put the lip on and screw them back through the lip to the bumper. That is about it.

i think the best way is a mix of 3M tape, and then betalink glue from bmw on the corners to make sure everything is flush.

But basically its 5-6 screws underneeth the front of the car, and sticking the 3m tape (if your not using the BMW reccomended stuff, I forget the name, which you can buy on bmwusa.com) on the pre designated spots. If your using 3m spray a little windex on the bumper to make sure you have a little room for error and can slide it around, but not too much or it wont stick.
so, there are marked spots on the bumper for the betalink? What do they look like? Anyone got pics?

If you beta, make sure you do something to protect that lip from chips. Trust me, it will chip and eventually you will want it repainted. If it is betalink, then it is your whole bumper going to the shop to be painted.

i would not recommend using betalink for install ... 3M auto molding tape which is basically automotive double sided tape is more than enough to hold the aero lip on ... you only need to apply tape at four points on the lip ... two on the edge and two for the center ... the bolts on the bottom, if you start from either side is every other bolt that you need to remove ...

^ that does work but betalink for the corners help keep everything looking flush. JMHO if its gonna be a pain in the ass cutting and working out the right peies for the corner to make to sit flush everywhere!
