gp thunders (h8 , 8500k) or mtec( h8, 4750k)
which is better for e92 drl's.. i'm not sure if the drls will withstand 8500 ?? both of them are super white colors... any thoughts???

NO. On a tempature scale yes but this is the color scale with about 6700K being white as I recall. Lower like 4750K is more yellow. Above that is a bit blue. What you want is about 6500-8500K in an appropriate wattage bulb to fit in the housing.

8500k because as the light goes through the angel eye, it decreases in the power so its more white than if you put those same bulbs in your fogs
7500K is just dimmer.. the look is the same just the outside ring doesnt light up as much

I don't get why the 7500 would be dimmer for the outside ring than the 8500...what do you mean "it decreases in the power?"

GP Thunders are brighter then Mtecs as far as angel eyes goes. I've seen them both in person and the GP's are brighter. it seems you are in Walnut, i go to school around there so if you want, i can show you in person.
