front bumper grill

Hey,

does anyone have any info on getting the bottom part of the front bumper (the part holding the fog lights) painted? or coated? to a brushed titanium look
can this be done? and how so?
pictures anyone?

hmmm.. People get it done to a matte black, but I dono about brushed titanium, unless you get it painted, your best bet is probably the silver race mesh grilles which IMO are ugly.

This is what I mean.... i want to change the color to look like the second picture. Is this the difference on the 328 and 335?
how can i go about doing this to 328?

Just go to Tischer and order them (I believe you can order black or silver), remove your bumper and replace (Instructions via DIY forums). Will cost you ~$50 and a couple hours.

Search for "grills" in topic titles. There is the problem with the 328i grills blocking the oil cooler on the passenger side.

No doubt, Irony abound. I've paid to have mine blacked out, and some want to have theirs silver? A slight turn-off if you ask me, blacked out look goes much better with this car.

i didnt see anything about problems with oil cooler on new 328i and whats that have to do with the grills on the bottom?

328 does not have an oil cooler. 335 does.

The 328's passenger grille is not cut out for ventilation on the oil cooler (passenger) side.
