UPS by far is the worst

FedEx is very punctual most of the time but DHL is actually really good as well.

Hm... hard to say. UPS will charge you arm & leg on brokerage but at least they won't just dropped your 4G rims & tire in your front door and leave without trying to ring your bell!

seems like everyone has the same thought as me...i m pretty pissed by them recently, amd this is the 4th time i m that pissed by them..i ordered a wheel spacers from Namotorsports, and i asked them to use a faster shipping, and then they used the 2days method, and it was shipped on tuesday, and ups emailed me today and say it will be re-scheduled..what if i m waiting for something really urgent, then what is the point is UPS EXPRESS??lol..

In the Canada forum it's going to be 100% UPS. They're the only shipper that automatically charges brokerage fees and gives you no option to choose your own broker. Actually I think they are being sued because of that. I *hate* UPS.

UPS and Purolator

I hate anything that relates to Canada Post

anyways, I had 3 individual bad experience about UPS.

One time i ordered a phone on Ebay and the vendor's only choice of shipping is UPS; I forgot to mention to the vendor that i live in an apartment and need a buzzer (I have to admit that is my bad), so the delivery guy never bothered leaving me a slip and just decided they wanted to ship the package back to the vendor. I ended up having to pay twice the shipping fee.

second time, different product, same thing happened.

Third time was three weeks ago. I got a deal from Fido and they needed to ship the phone to me, so i told them you need a buzzer number or else the UPS delivery guy would just leave without anything notice. Fido said it's impossible since the information wouldn't be transfered to UPS. I was hoping it would have been better since they SHOULD leave a notice. Same thing happened. Nothing on the DOOR!!

no matter how anyone tell me how good UPS's service is i will never believe such thing.

UPS hands down. I feel bad for all the workers in brown who work for the most universally agreed shittiest shipper in the world.

From the US, if I can ,I use USPS international, pretty fast and the brokerage charges are reasonable.

Yeah UPS believes by delivering the package on time and bypass the customs until later is the better way to go. I've seen brokerage/duty that was equal to have the value of the item - its ridiculous.

For US to Canada shipments, clearance delays is typical unless its an express document.

For apartments, when you get the tracking number just call the courier and make a note of the buzzer code and that will be forwarded to the driver.

UPS sucks. Why?
The UPS guys don't carry cellphones, so they don't call you before they head over to your place like Fedex or DHL. They come at the most random time of the day and just leave a note there. So 3 delivery attempts mean nothing to me because I either have work or school. If they were like DHL or Fedex, at least those guys would call me before hand and maybe I can meet them somewhere. Their brokerage charges are just ridiculous, they don't even open the item. This item seems to be heavy, okay, let's put a $80 brokerage fee, oh wait, the item is worth $450, so let's add another $100 brokerage fee. The only good thing about it is the go online tracking service, BUT who gives a fuck if the item is in part of the United States right now, as long as it gets delivered on time, who CARES.

BEST companies are DHL, Fedex and CanadaPost (USPS).

I bet you've seen some crazy brokerage for sure. I love that they hold items hostage. When my exhaust came up from the US they delivered the exhaust, but the diffuser arrived the next day with a COD of over $350. Don't pay = no diffuser, and if I refuse shipment the sender has to pay. Retarded.
