Do the old ones just pull out? What does the back of this piece look like? Just want to make sure nothing is damaged..

Yes the stock ones pull off and you press these on to them.They are covers. Or you can use a tiny bit of adhesive. You always have the option of buy extra knob for $4.88 if its a concern. Your stock knobs pull easily off the radio. This will not harm your radio or anything else!

especially since its for only 2 knobs, most wont even notice them

I like the climate control knobs on that japanese webpage, see if you can make those and we can do a set of 4 knobs.

I will be making those if this groupbuy works out. They are alot harder to make as the climate control knobs dont come off. But I am still considering making those, and whoever bought from this GB will recieve a discount on the climate knobs. Thanks!

You know looking at your pictures, I really liked them and was about to order them. Then I realized I have i-drive and only one knob, so it won't have the same look/effect.. The non-idrive pics you have above look great with the aluminum trim.. Good luck with the GB. Nice design and iniative..
