Speakers for E90
I have just bought my new E90 M Sport 320d and hate the stereo, am having a custom system built but need to clarify something ...
The front door speakers, what are the standard specs? Size etc? Also what ones can you put in there as upgrades? I have been told by the company that there are hardly any you can fit in there as a replacement. Can anyone help me? |

Welcome to the forum!
Please use the search function, there have been various threads on this topic. Do you have the standard speakers, the hifi-upgrade, or logic 7? To prevent confusion: USA versions have the hifi-upgrade as stock. Cheers |

e90 speakers
i have the standard uk stereo system, cd upfront, under seat subs and front / rear speakers.
My concern is this company are telling me that there is only 1 style of speaker that fits the door space in the E90 which are ridiculously expensive. |

Hmm, that might be expensive. I don't think your front tweeter housings are wired, because you don't have tweeters. Fitting aftermarket speakers in there + wiring might be expensive.
I also have read on here, that the midrange door speakers have a unique mounting frame with only 3 screws. But you should do a search on here. Edit: Something for the beginning: http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11508 |
