how do I change bulb in side marker light??? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

does any one know how to change the bulb in the side marker on the fender?

The side marker simply slides to the side and then pulls out but I have not been able to find a replacement bulb yet so I have left it alone...

The bulbs call 5W and you can find it any car shops.

ok, i know it's toward the rear now. but i can only budge it about 1/8 inch after that i loose grip.

Try harder. And then try to pull it away from the fender panel. 1/8" is about right. Pull it away from the fender panel on the side nearest to the front end of the car.

don't push too hard back.....or the plastic(attached to metal clip) will SNAP!

What part number is it to replace the side marker light?

The side marker light is a 1157? I think you are confusing the question for the turn signal light - I need the part number for the side marker light that is on the side of the vehicle in front of the door panel.

you can use the common bulb which are 194.
