Found Ideal Car But No 6FL

Hi Guys im new on here i have been looking for for a 325 for some time now , I have finally found the right car that has everything i wanted other than the 6FL option for my Ipod . Myh question is if it is possible to have this option retofitted ? many thanks for your help

I'll probably start this up during another time when I finish my idrive retrofit, but I couldn't help commenting...

While scouring the WDS, I couldn't help but notice a page that was talking about information on parallel installation of TCU and ULF-SBX-H (interface box High.) The page seemed to be meant for the E60, but popped up while researching for the E90. I know this module is somehow related to the TCU (Telematic Control Module) but not sure exactly what the ULF module does...

This page stated, "The ULF-SBX-H exclusively operates the optional extra 6FL "USB audio port." Telephone functions are not implemented in this control module."

I'm not sure what extra wiring has to be installed, etc...but I don't see why it can't be retrofitted - it interfaces with the MOST bus which is coded into the radio. Seems like it could be possible. Hmmm.....

Certainly no "off the shelf" kit though..and likely quite expensive..
