M sport rear valance

Is the black area on the rear bumper actually part of the bumper or can it be removed and replaced wth a twin exit valance?
Not had chance to look at this yet and thought someone on here would know.

cheers

I understood it to be removable - whether you'd have to take the whole bumper off to do it is another matter. I've had my rear bumper off to fit a towing bracket and it's easy enough, with patience.

The black area is not part of the bumper and is easily removed, just a series of screws to take out.
Pop your head under the arse end and it will be self explanatory.

No reason why you could not fit a twin exit replacement, although I'd check with BMW whether an OEM part for a twin exhaust will fit,it should do I guess.

Note: Just noticed you have a E90, my comment regards a E92,so I'm not sure whether the above is true in the case of the E90

Along the top edge it clips into place, sitting in a recess in the bumper as you can see from the pic below. I'm not sure of any other fixings without going and having a crawl underneath.
