Not everyone will want this feature (including myself), but this can be coded from your dealer on your next visit.

Hmmm... why wouldn't anyone want the auto locking feature? Don't you sometimes forget if you have locked the car and then walked back to the car and click on the remote to confirm that it's locked?

Are you sure the dealer can get that coded for me?

hey tom, do we need to disconnect the batt before installing? im not too techy n electronics...however i did install my own tvandnav2go...only took me 2 days

It's always a good idea to disconnect your battery when working on electrical.

Any coding performed by the dealer can only be turned off by the dealer.

just installed 2 last night
takes a little bit to figure out the programming (like 15 minutes) and then im well on my way to playing with it all day today from my office overlooking my car

and it turns out it doesnt matter which orange-green wire you take...i just grabed one and it works. grabbed another on my buddies e90 and it works also

your mirrors should only unfold if you double tape the unlock. set to setting 3 blinks on the left and 2 blinks on the right. the windows will only open if you hold the second tap for 2 or more seconds.

hey tom, is there any way to program the switch so that when you lock the car, in addition to the mirrors folding, the sunroff opens at tilt? just wondering if this is an option since it is a "window" and i didnt see it listed in the manual...thanks!

We thought about this, but it would not be a good idea if the vehicle was left out in the rain.

ok ... it worked for one day and now it doesn't

i can only lock it and fold the mirrors but they will not go back when I unlock it

check the programming on the stalk. make sure its 3 left, 2 right. i dont know but mine changed sometimes too when i palyed with it alot. you have to double tap the unlock to make it fold out too...just like you double tap the lock
