Adding a part does not void the warranty.
However if you add springs and a shock goes bad on you they could say the springs caused it and not cover it. If you add an intake and something happens to the motor that they can say was caused by poorly filtered air going through the intake they could deny your waranty. if you wait for the Dinan suspension, technically you wouldn't have this problem no? I asked my Service Advisor today and he said that the only suspension that will not void the factory warranty are dinan products installed at a dinan authorized dealer -- donno if this is true. Any insight will be greatful.
The folks at Dinan said that they will release a suspension in a few months (currently in testing). Quote:
