so it looks like if and when these come out, 06-08 E90s will need a new trunklid. Not to mention the wiring might be totally different i.e. (OEM LED taillight bulbs). BMWs don't like it when you change bulbs or voltages at all huh?

When the E46 330ci received the facelift LED taillights, were those direct PnP? Any voltage or throwing code issues?

No, e46 LED tails are not direct PnP, they are a PITA!

I decided to skip the headache of poorly fitting aftermarket PnP LED tails (or poorly fitting non PnP tails that required resistors) and trying to make OEM's work with a bunch of resistors and decided just to go euro red/clear/red with regular bulbs...

If you own an `06-`08 e90, I would suggest a similar solution, or go with a nice set of whitelines/blacklines, they look more aggressive than OEM and keep things from getting complicated...

Maybe we will see a new aero kit just like the e92 euro aero kit that looks just like the m3 front. If not, ehhh... body kit vendors.. GET TO WORK!

I still hope their is a black line's version! there very well should be, as black lines were exclusive (almost never advertised or included on new cars for sale), and STILL sold well!

If the e90's taillights look anything like this e91's, all I have to say is thank goodness I got mine before the facelift. However, I may need to buy those new headlights.
