My Friend's Car Collection

So got in contact with an old friend of mine that I haven't talked to in over 8 years or so. He has a private practice and is an MD DDS (oral & maxillary surgeon) in North Carolina. When he told me the cars he has, I was blown away. Needless to say, he's doing very well. He probably pays more in 2-3 months of car payments than many of us make in a year. I'd post his Flickr photo links, but it shows his license plate numbers on many of his cars (and I want to respect his privacy). Hard to believe that when I last talked to him he was driving a Honda Prelude. Guess it pays off to be a surgeon.

Here's his collection:

needless to say, he's doing very well.

2008 Cadillac CTS DI (Daily Driver)
Ferrari F430 F1
2005 Ford GT
2008 Lamborghini Gallardo
2007 Chevrolet Corvette Z06
07 911 Turbo 997 (traded for Gallardo)
07 Range Rover Sports Supercharged
2007 Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Porsche GT3 RS
Porsche Cayenne Turbo
06 Mitsubishi Evo IX MR
1974 Alfa Romeo Giulia GTV

Meh, list seems a bit redundant to me. Cayenne Turbo and Range Sport Supercharged? Did you list the Evo twice or does he actually have two? (At different modification levels I'd assume, perhaps one is track-only?) All those cars and he DD's in a CTS? As long as he's happy I suppose.

you could say that about all of those cars, why need numerous supercars? why not only have one? its because its a collection. if you have the funds, go balls deep, why not. youre thinking too hard about this list, take it for what it is, a nice little collection of cars most of us can only dream of owning.

shit, if i had that kind of money id buy a gtstreet for monday, an ascari a10 for tuesday, a DBS for wednesday and id just ride jessica alba the rest of the week.

my bad...that was a bad copy/paste. he only has 1 Evo.

This is what he does for a living (note that the top procedure is cosmetic/plastic surgery for head and neck...in addition to all of the other very tough procedures):

* Dentoalveolar surgery (surgery to remove impacted teeth, difficult tooth extractions, extractions on medically compromised patients, bone grafting or preprosthetic surgery to provide better anatomy for the placement of implants, dentures, or other dental prostheses)
* Diagnosis and treatment of benign pathology (cysts, tumors etc.)
* Diagnosis and treatment (ablative and reconstructive surgery, microsurgery) of malignant pathology (oral & head and neck cancer).
* Diagnosis and treatment of cutaneous malignancy (skin cancer), lip reconstruction

Lastly, here's screen shot of his Flickr page...I'm not going to provide a link to his page for privacy reasons. And if you still don't believe it, I feel REALLY SORRY for you!
