Hi Neil, I once had your phone and it worked fine with address book everything etc. But not in cradle. Then one day the phone packed up.

My current k850i workeed for 4 months then stopped for a month and now is working again. WHO KNOWS what the issue is??

BM just said im not using a compatible phone, which yours isnt either im afraid.

Has it ever worked?

Carlos

I have used a K800i for a year and is totally faultless. I also use the cradle for it.

It is a fully compatible phone since BMW supply the cradle for it.
Have you tried emptying all your text messages and ensuring the firmware of the phone is fully updated?

You can back the phone up using the excellent myphoneexplorer beforehand.

Best of luck.

I have a K800i that also is cradled when in the car and that works ok. However, it does seem to screw up my speed dial list replaces a couple of the entries with other numbers from my contact list.

Its a new phone bought specifically because it was fully compatible with my new car.

My Blackberry wouldn't pair at all when I had addresses in a group. The website had instructions for pairing and even described the exact thing I encountered along with the solution. When I deleted the group as instructed the phone paired straightaway.

I found out last night I can just say "dial name" and then the name in my address book and it dials it...fantastic.....the BMW manual seemed to suggest you had to create separate entries for voice dialling.

Can the E90/92 bluetooth firmware be upgraded these days ?

In my old E46 I had to buy a new module with newer software on it when I changed my phone.
