Well... there are apparently some adjustable settings on how the trunk will fit on... on top of that, I have to transfer all the CA components over... and the tail-light wiring so... just thought it'd be easier if i had someone with experience before i mess anything up haha

yo oct, btw... i took my car into BMW Austin this past weekend because i was getting that rattling on cold starts... turns out it was the wastegate actuators, but they just had to reprogram the car's computer and it fixed the problem... weird, huh? Maybe that would fix yours too

nooo... for stuff that is questionably due to aftermarket products I go to BMW Austin... they are awesome with modded BMWs there... BMW SA would void any and all warranties they could if they knew you had mods.

after the jb3 install the rattle is kinda off and on now, it doesn't bother me tho

The important excerpts from the bullitin, for those interested:

1) Run test plan.

2) The test plan will conclude with an instruction to replace the wastegate actuators; ignore this instruction. Reprogram the DME; improvements are included with the following I-Levels:
E90, E92, and E93 (335i and 335xi), E89x-08-03-530 or higher

3) After programming is completed, if the noise is no longer present, take no further action. If the noise is still present, replace both of the turbocharger wastegate actuators in accordance with Repair Instruction RA 11 65 580, Replacing vacuum unit (wastegate) (N54).
