Question Passenger speaker is low on volume

Hey guys I replaced the passenger speaker because it wasn't working. The new speaker was stuck at a very low volume, so I replaced it again. Same issue. Trying to get a second opinion if anyone has experienced a similar issue. A light search on here led me to a comment saying they fixed something like this with a software update at the dealer. Thoughts? Would I be able to do that in my own garage?
