iphone 3g echo fix

Worked in my car. Pairs perfectly

1. Hands free volume:
Sometimes the adjustment of hands-free volume on the phone is necessary (only possible in an active call when connected via Bluetooth! Otherwise the toggle on the outside of the iPhone will only adjust the ringer volume or the speaker volume of the build-in speaker)

Increase volume all the way or until echo disappears. Posted multiple other places but thought this should have its own thread on this forum for quick ref.

Also BMW web site says that cars before 3/07 build may have problems in wi-fi is not turned off.

I tried it this morning, seemed to work on the way to work. I will check it out later again in the day.

I tried raising the bluetooth talk volume a couple of days ago and it didn't work... I'll try it again tomorrow and make sure that I raise the volume all the way up until the echo disappears.

Thanks for your validation!

Ringer volume isn't handsfree volume, but I guess you have that up too.

Hands free volume is separate from other volumes, so you should only have to turn it up once and it will stay no matter what your other volumes are set to.

Tried it many times. If you listen VERY carefully, you can still hear the echo in my car.

Didn't work for me unfortunately. But I can live with if it means I'd have to get 30.2 to get it resolved.

Tried the "volume up" fix and it helps but the echo is still there...
