if you paint cf...?

Alright so now that I'm getting my vorsteiner bootlid painted, the body shop is telling me that there might be a slight chance, that if you look real close at the trunk, you may be able to see some of the cf design through the paint...
is this true? my car is jet black...so i figure it shouldnt even show up the slightest bit...
i havent exactly paid attention to any in person either...but now i'm curious...is this normal or should it be completely opaque?

thnx for the guidance!

CF products usually require a thicker/more coats of paint so if the shop knows what they're doing you shouldn't be able to see the CF.

ya they said that they're going to double coat the black, and double coat the clear coat...so i hope it's a clean finish...

Yes, if they do it right, the weave should not show through, but on a black car, it really doesn't matter.
