I am continously reading, trying to get an idea what is going on with this.

But so far my final understanding is..

Pre 3/08 car- upgrade to 29.2 - lag
3/08 car and newer with 29.2- doesn't have the lag problem....

I've been messing with my car over and over to find this lag, because i read these threads..
Interesting. I had my entire instrument panel replaced at the time of the 29.2 upgrade. Would that have anything to do with the DME or no? I don't know how to tell which DME I have.

Anyway, some new info on how my car is running here, for those who are interested:

Also, I am still looking for someone local with no lag to drive my car and see if you see a difference.

Hmm, i just read your post.

Interesting.. I am unsure of what to tell you. I don't know these vehicles well enough yet, i'm still learning!

But it sounds like their is a problem with lag that BMW is working on most likely. I kept my RPM's low on the way to work today to check my "lag." It's hard for me to tell, but i don't think I have any.....
