Routing DIY satellite cabling
Some of the threads already posted were mega helpful for learning how to add aftermarket plug n' play satellite radio to my setup. Found the fakra plug (hint: '07 and later 3 sedans, it's under the CD changer tray), hooked it up, ran the cables outside the car and into the front where I was able to connect power and aux to verify everything was working. Wonderful! Full satellite signal, and decent volume (for now).
Here's the kicker: How in the heck do I route the cabling from the fakra connection in the trunk to the cabin of my 328i if I do not have fold down seats? I spent over half an hour trying every nook and crevice for a pass through to the front with no luck. And search turned up even less. Suggestions? |
