Very nice Tisme.

The new iDrive should now also have the 'Remote Services' facility built in with ConnectedDrive (Assist + Online).

Our American friends have had this for a while- it will allow the car to be remotely locked, unlocked & tracked by BMW, should you need them to.

Thanks again for the comments. I have been given the manuals to read, but I have not driven an e90 before, and there is just s much there, it is doing my head in. I enjoyed my fully loaded e46, bu this is something else.

There is so much I do not know, but it seems the car will play DVDs as well, now I never knew that when I ordered it. I still do not know what the 6NF does either, so will spend all Saturday working out how everything works.

I did a quick test on synching my 3G iPhone, and that worked fine; I had hoped to play the music off it via a Bluetooth connection but my initial test failed.

If anyone wants me to test any feature, please let me know and I'll do my best.

The colour is really nice. Be good to see some proper shots of it to show its true self.

Really interested to hear about the Individual Hi-Fi. It's damn expensive but I thought the DSP (Logic7) version was amazing. The 'I' Hi-Fi must be something special.

The exterior changes are subtle but certainly effective.

The i-drive does look the business though, there's some demo's on u-tube that show it working, it seems to be a massive improvement.

Keep us all posted with your thoughts after Friday.

Car looks great Tisme - I was looking at that colour on the configurator the other day - looks a variation of silverstone II? Need to see one in the metal though I guess.

I saw pre facelift and facelift side by side on the motorway and new one looks so much better with the new lights

Actually, I'm waiting for my hair to dry (takes ages) then I'm popping out via my favourite twisty road of course

....well thats OK, so long as you're not sitting doing nothing.....of course I tend to spend much more time on here when at work than at home.....one benefit of being your own boss I suppose

Dunno what's going on with pics as never been a problem before but there's no way my PC will let me view them......no big stres, but thanks for your concern.......
