cheers guys - looks like a good service, seems a bit on the steep side though - is that reasonable price for that sort of detailing? ( just curious as ive never really used such professional service)

These Guys come highly recommended from various forum members so must be good. Be prepared to pay anything from 200-500 for detailing / paint correction on your car. Best bet is to have a look at the Detailingworld website and check out a few more Detailers in your area.

Jules.

Agreed its not cheap, but you get what you pay for....at the end of the day do you want your paintwork improved and a lasting finish applied, or do you want a quick wash and shine???

I am sure you'll be highly satisfied once you have had your bodywork fettled with It will be worth the very reasonable price.

You only need a proper paint correction once if you maintain it properly afterwards - see it as an investment rather than a valeting cost

Agree 200%. You really do get what you pay for, though up to a certain point. There are detailers that charge 1000, and some that charge 150. If you think how long it takes to machine polish a car properly though (and it took 14 hours to do my car) can you imagine a professional detailer charging just 10-15 per hour for labour and products?? Doesn't make sense to me, especially if they use quality materials. Granted, mine was a hefty job as it involved wet sanding the front bumper, hence why it cost me the best part of 450, but the normal process should be around the 350-380 mark if you use Paul Townsend at ShineOn.

See my Clean Thread for more pictures and details on the detailing process my car went through...
