NW get togethers
The CARS thread got me thinking.
When I had my MINI the club would get together about once a month for coffee on a weekend morning. We'd alternate between Northend, Seattle, Eastside, and Southend (At least for those in the Seattle area). Do you all ever do that here or if not, have any interest? Todd |

we do but not once-2 a month but that would be nice. lets have like a place that we can meet up for say breakfest or dinner once every 2 weeks or so.
the resone we dont really have this is cuz we are all over the map of the NW. seattle area. im in bothell/millcreek area and every one else is just every were else plus the time we start work is all over the clock i start at 6:30am. but dinner sounds good let pick a place and lets do this cuz im down

Sounds like the "Cars & Coffee" concept, which I'm personally a fan of. We can call it "E9Xs and coffee." Something simple like "Every 3rd Saturday of the month, 10 AM at XXXX coffee shop."
I know the young punks on here will be like "10AM on a Saturday? I'm just going to BED at 10 AM on Saturday morning!" Eff'ing lightweights I tell ya! In college, I would drink until 2 AM, crash for a few hours, then be AT WORK at 6 AM Saturday morning. Tough it out, rookies! The BF.com crew gets together every Tuesday night at Dick's on Holman road (7:00 PM.) More interesting during the summer when the weather is nice, but during the winter, I think an indoor type location would be great.

no one from seattle ever comes down to tacoma thats why...
we have weekly meets down here in tacoma. wednesdays are bertolino's coffee and friday/saturdays are krispy kreme meets. it's all mixed bmws |

I wouldn't mind the Wednesday deal, but the traffic heading south in the evening is B-R-U-T-A-L. And since I haven't had to deal with a commute in over 5 years, I seem more prone to impatience and frustration with traffic. But, maybe a big tube of Manginasil will clear it up for me.....

lets pick a day and place and lets have it every 2-3 weeks or like the first tuesday of every month or somthing like that. we got to start some time right the should be awsome just watching this meet grow from like a few guys to a bunch of people showing up. all ready cant wait
