What do you guys think would sound better... Muffler-delete or cat-delete with a remus muffler on after the straight pipe?

Catless midpipes with a remus muffler hands down. But, this will cost you a grand at the least.

And, a mufler delete will only cost you 100 bucks. Great value, but a real exhaust setup will sound better. IMO

One of the cheapest quasi modifications you can do. The sound is great, much like a Porsche performance exhaust, but not a V-8 performance exhaust. I love the back-fire and gurgle of the exhaust on de-celeration.

this topic is still buggin me because i have done an exhaust to all my cars and i kinda wana leave this one quiet yet sometimes i want some sound from it... so its a big deal that if i drive normal, shifting smooth and at lower rpms it needs to be somewhat quiet and i especially dont want it to be annoying on the express way because i drive alot on the highway at about 80 to 120 mph... Can anyone ease my thoughts on the sound?

Considering its a 6 cylinder motor with small turbos it shouldn't be anything noticeable.

Lets see....Gained 30 hp with the perf. tri-color M steering wheel. Gained 15 hp with the matching perf. leather M shifter knob, and 50 hp. with the muffler delete....just joking....seems that the mods give great impressions...but actual figures..nothing gained..nothing lost. I do like the fact I have no droning at interstate speeds.....once the exhaust system is heated up. Then only loud exhaust sounds under hard acceleration.
