Performance Suspension

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
With a tighter, sportier feeling and lower suspension setting of 15mm in comparison with series-production vehicles, the inclusion of a BMW Performance control arm with stiffer bushings gives your 3 Series an almost instinctual feel for the road. With adjusted spring rates and bushings, roll is drastically reduced, creating cat-like quickness, increased responsiveness, and stunning agility. Flexing with the motion of your vehicle around even the tightest curves, a BMW Performance control arm means athletic handling, faster turn-ins, and a totally immediate and much more intense reaction to the tarmac. It delivers a perfect compromise between racing car performance and driving comfort. (PN: 33 50 0 429 574)

$695.00
so is this $695 gives you different control arm, bushings and springs and retains the stock sport suspension damper?

It looks like its just upgraded shocks on an e90, as non-sport packaged cars require purchase of sport package sway bars and springs:

Kit contents:
Two front suspension struts
Two rear shocks
Two front control arms (E46 only)
Front stabilizer (for E46 only)
Rear stabilizer (for E46 convertibles only)
Additional front/rear shocks
Additional springs & installation parts

*E90's up to 06/2006 with Sport Suspension (S226A=Yes) must also order 2 front guide supports (31306775098).

*E90's up to 06/2006 without Sport Suspension (S226A=No) must also order rear stabilizer (33556764426), front stabilizer (31356766288), 2 front guide supports (31306775098), and new springs.

*E90's from 06/2006 without Sport Suspension (S226A=No) must also order rear stabilizer (33556764426), front stabilizer (31356766288), and new springs.

*E90's from 06/2006 with Sport Suspension (S22A=Yes) require no additional parts.

I think that the yellow springs must be ordered separately. It is difficult to tease out what stuff will just be for 135 and what will be for 335. The whole performance thing is a mess, with little substance. Most disappointing so far. Here is BMW's opportunity to take care of the aftermarket warranty issue debacle, and they are blowing it.

i'm going to be asking the dealership about this new performance suspension for the e92...if it includes everything that was listed (like the 1 series version) and see if they have those yellow springs available too.

Unhappy Bad news

So I tried to order part number 33 50 0 444 832 performance suspsension, but it looks like its no longer being made. They checked the warehouses in Ontario, Mount Olive, Senatobia, Jacksonville and Stockon, 0 quantity in all. It also said NLA (Y/N): Y, so im assuming NLA means no longer available. I tried...

I would JUMP on those yellows springs if they make it for 335i...eibach pro-kit is just too soft and progressive springs doesn't work as well as linear springs for my Koni FSD

so would anyone really know if bmw will EVER have some kind of performance suspension for our cars? It's like BMW prefers the 1er more since it has all the performance parts for it...

I'm quite happy with the eibach/koni fsd setup...it does ride smoother than zsp, but in cornering its quite an improvement

Bump for inquiry as to whether Tischer has anymore useful info on this. Maybe they are delaying this to release it in the rumored fall performance catalog...

Hey guys,
I just wanted to update this thread by saying that the price dropped with the sport suspension.
Tischer has it for $555 now and when i compare this to other shocks and struts, this price is extremely good.
http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...catalogid=4462

I just might take the plunge since I can use my stock sport springs with thes struts/shocks.

I am back to considering this kit, if I can get the BMW yellow performance springs, and putting the M-sport rear sway on ($800 in parts, keep BMW warranty). It would be a lot cheaper than my current plan of Hotchkis sways & Bilstein PSS10 coilovers (2k in parts).

Yep, it is less expensive but you don't already have the sport package?
If you already have the sport suspension then you don't need the yellow springs.
Fron what I understood, the yellow springs are the same springs as the sport springs. BMW just made them an aftermarket component, and colored them yellow. These yellow springs are for those who have the regular suspension.

Since I already have the sport springs then all I need is these dampers.
I'm highly considering these.

Would be great if the yellow springs are even slightly lower than sport which is standard on E92 non-xi, so I can use them with my FSD, Eibach pro-kit's initial compression is too soft IMO. Dieing to find a linear spring slightly lower than stock, and Dinan's is way overpriced. Tischer please find out for us and chime in!
