OMG Awesome Claybar Deal!

Got this from Autopia:
http://www.bettercarcare.com/tps-clylub.html

That's $2.25 PER OUNCE!

Here are comparison prices:
Quote:
I've been looking up clay prices per ounce, and found Pinnacle's Ultra Poly Clay to be the cheapest per ounce (if you buy it in bulk), which comes to about $3.75 per ounce for 16 ounces at $60. Following is Zaino's Claybar, which is $4.25 per ounce for 4 ounces at $17. Last is 3M's Claybar, which is $5 per ounce for 7 ounces at $35.
DavidN, they give you the Sonus Medium Grade Clay, that should be good enough, right?

clay magic... is my favorite clay bar...

leaves no residue on the paint surface & easy to work with imo.

Clay Magic is expensive! It's like $5 an ounce! All clay is the same anyway.

true, but the lube / auto shine that comes with the Clay Magic is some great stuff! Makes the $11 for the combo worth it imo.

Do you guys use Zaino? You can make your own lube. I'm going to order two bars of this stuff, and I'll let you guys know how it works out.

You could buy the same at AutoZone for 10$ . I got one and I like the spray lubricant but not the clay bar. Zaino clay bars are much better quality.

The Zaino clay bar works pretty well also. Personally, I like Griot's clay bar the best. If I am applying Zaino to the paint I use their clay bar with the car shampoo they sell. If I am using carnauba wax and other polishes, I use Griots.

That looks like a good deal. The medium grade clay is the same grade as Zaino, Mothers, etc, so it should be fine.

I ordered $75 worth and used the FREESHIP coupon, which is almost $13. I should have enough clay for a while.
