More and More Tyre Issues

I must be the most unlucky bloke.

Here it goes....

Some dozy bint drives into my car, est £4k worth of damage on a 335d Msport Coupe with the 19".

Well chuffed when the rental car is a 335 Msport Coupe, so got to compare the petrol to the diesel. Loved it and the noise except the terrible mpg.

Punture in the car this morning, no tyre for love or money on the rear 255 30 19 potenza. I have searched Kwik, ATS and Scothall as well as Bridgestone direct. OK for people that dont remember this similiar situation happened 3 months ago for me where i ended up having to pay £344 for a tyre.

Now there are no tyres at all in the South East and the rental company and replacing the car with a 335d Msport as there are no tyres. What a joke, at least i dont have to pay for the puncture!!!

glad to see that this companies supply chain is so well organised, i am defintley going to stock up on tyres when they come into stock and ebay them at ridiculous prices. MOFOS.

I think you will find it is 'you' killing the tyres Carloski! Not the car

OK, so not in the SE, but Camskill appear to have them in stock, well they have them showing on line

Based in Cumbria but have fast UK wide delivery, and £267 for the RE050 FRT in 19" is pretty decent.

Give 'em a buzz!!

Out of interest what company was it that supplied the 335i/335d? Was it just through your insurers?

Your local dealer may be worth a try - I paid £300 for a 19'' rear earlier this year (car was only 5 weeks old). Very pi55ed off that only the dealers had them, effectively kills any competition and keeps the prices artificially high.

Scothall is his local dealer, he said he tried them.

yeah scotthall didnt have them this time, i had a flat some 2 months ago and they did and they cost me £340! at least they washed my car.

this time, car was sourced via accident exchange as the third party admitted total liability.

must say they have been excellent in sorting everything out. Also they only allow you to replace the tyre witha company that has a registered account with them - ie ATS and Kwik Fit only. No dealers are regsitered.
