Anyone else had a recall for faulty "Pulse Generators" on their e92?

They say problems include erratic engine behavior and loss of power if not replaced.

My wife's E92 is a 07 320i

This is the second one in two months, the first was for injectors.

Had to laugh a the "Quality Enhancement" Subject Line

yes, got a letter - have booked her in for the recall...

"Quality Monitoring at BMW has revealed that your vehicle needs to be checked, to ensure that your vehicle is in perfect working condition...."

I've not heard anything yet, is this affecting all e92's?

What are those then? Any one got any ideas? Coils?

I assume that the pulse generators are the Hall-effect cam sensors. (i.e. the same thing as your recent recall).
