Front bumper has clearer intakes with LEDs. Headlights have LEDs. Grille also looks sharper are more angular.
Rear lights also look much better as a complete unit. This makes a big difference to the overall design. I still think I prefer the 7 series but with AMG package I would def think twice.

Those LEDs look like they're straight from Audi. Still a fan of the new 7 compared to this though...

Audi's LEDs are so much better. The merc ones on the E and now S just look weird, like they are aftermarket things you buy at autozone. And those on the S look so small and pointless.

Not sure if I like it. I think the design looks weak. I wish they ditched the chrome mess they call headlights. MB doesn't know how to make nice looking headlights. I'm also not crazy about the tails. To me, it was something unique having the body-colored slats in between. Now they look generic to me. The LEDs are a blatant Audi/Porsche copy, and the bumper itself is a bit on the generic side, and it's conservative. It's just meh to me. They made it look even more like an old person's car.

Looks more blah than it previously looked. I'm sure the AMG kit will make it look better. I'm not a big fan of the increased LED use in the new Mercs.

Car looks awful. The pre-face lift is much nicer. I hate the the mirror turn signals; they look like the ones on the c-class, bulky and weird. I think only Audi and Porsche look good rocking the LEDs. The front bumper may be sharper but it looks like they got some e90 splitters. The rear tailight look RED. Reminds me of a MAYBACH. 08 S Class for the WIN.

It looks like it's got like 6 different Camera's and or sensors on the front.
The car actually looks like an A8 in a way.
