1. Cut the fabric to the size of the trims...(make sure the wave direction are all go same way before you cut, and make sure you leave about 1" longer on all sides of the trims.

For those who is planning to do this DIY, I suggest you do 2 -3 pieces per day. This will give you hands and brain a rest and not to rush it, cuz rushing will end up sloppy

And here is how I work on the corner the back view of the trim(pull and stretch).


On the pic below, the back side is not glue down yet and I am using my hand to hold the fabric...you can see corner is already smooth.

what do you mean by "clean the trims"? just like wipe them down?

You should clean the surface with alcohol.

i have wood trim, i just run alcohol on top of it?

^^ yeah. it's protected with a protective clear finish

you wanna make sure the surface clean so when you put the fabric on, you will get a smooth finishing.
