Need to Dyno the JB3 in DFW... where?
Installed my JB3 and DCI and then took it to Jotech in Garland, who used to work on my IS300 Turbo. The dyno numbers were not great at all and after running several tests with Terry (BMS), we determined there is nothing really wrong with the software or my installation.
Kenny (owner of Jotech) says his DynoJet 24x is usually low so that said, I want to find another dyno in the DFW area to go check it out. I did not do a baseline so I don't have a comparison, but my car put down 319 whp and 346 wtq. It pulled 14psi and tapered off towards redline as it should. A/F was 13 at peak power and tapered off to 11.8 towards redline. Ambient temp was 70 degrees and dry. I'm not here to bash the JB3 at all... I think that the Jotech dyno maybe conservative and I need to go elsewhere to do a comparison. Any ideas? |
