Thanks Rich, have you done the alcantara yet? It's really a pain in the ass because the material does not stretch at all. I have some CF vinyl coming in that should be much better to work with, I hope.

Looks bit fuzzy.
But A for the effort.
I think CF wrap would look 100x better.

Hey 328i, I have done many Alcantara pcs like sub woofer enclosures and such. Done many door panels with very tight turns and some that required french stitch(double stitch). Also some small trim pcs for other makes, I have NOT done a E90 yet, just E46(no pics). It would be easy for me to do the E90 though. I know what you mean about it not streching thats why you have to be extra careful and patient. Great job on the wrap.

On a side note, that material you purchased is not good and will tear easy and NOT last at all. But seeing as you change your trim all the time, it really doesn't matter. Check this picture out.

Hey MCMLXXXIX, let me know if you would like to wrap your trim in Alcantara, I have a bunch of colors available.

Sorry I forgot about this thread. That's not the same material I have, I've actually tried to tear it and it's not tearing at all. Mine has white backing and looks to be thicker, I only deal with high quality materials.

Not my cup of tea, but as long as you like it, that's what matters. I'm sure it was a lot of work though.

OH nice so you didn't buy the Soni CF vinyl? Good job man. PM me your brand CF vinyl and where you sourced it from. Thanks bud.
