Any tips for long trips? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I'm driving my sister to school in a few days. It'll take about 5 hrs.. I plan on waxing my car today especially the front side where all the bugs will be. Is this a good idea? Does the bug/tar remover spray take off wax?

Me too, I alway try to wash and wax the front and mirror before any long trip. Bugs still stick to the front but it will be easy to wash it off for the next car wash. Bug/tar remover will remove wax, re-apply the wax after you use the bug/tar remover..........
