How much for front? back? set? will this affect the ride quality (feel bumps etc?) Will the back bar block trunk space?

My non-sport stock suspension has been replaced with PSS9. I need to know what sort of skills and tuning experience are needed to replace the E90 sways. Most our local shops here have insufficient experience on sports car tuning. Say, replace the sways to H&R , is this just plug-and-play?

The front sway bars are pretty easy to do, however the rear you have to drop the rear subframe about 6 inches, and remove a few suspension arms. so to do the rear you have to be a pretty skilled tech. or at least confident enough to drop a rear subframe

thanks. in this case, do you think the shop who did my stock2pss9 replacement can handle this rear sways ? I remember the guy mentioned they had to 'remove a lot of stuff' to install the pss9?

Hi Diesel007,

I'm on KW Var2 too. The rear suspension spring mounts can be mounted upside down. You may wish to check on this. Some installers may put the height-adjustment block on the bottom instead of the top of the spring.

When the height adjustment block is on the bottom, the lowest height setting still results in a 10-12mm gap between the fenders and wheels. The reason for this is that, there are 2 rubber mounts on the top/bottom of each rear spring. The top one is much thicker than the bottom one. When the KW springs go in, either the top or bottom rubber mount needs to be removed. So if the bottom one is removed, the car sits much higher.

The instructional booklet recommends the height adjustment block be on top of the springs.
