I need some help

I need everyone's help. I am about to purchase a 2008 M3 Sedan which is Jerez Black Metallic. What does everyone think about Jerez Black Metallic. I love that color but to keep it clean in the NW is a pain in the ass. How is the paint quality from BMW. Any help or ideas would be great.

Well, keeping ANY color paint clean in the PNW is a huge pain in the ass!

I love the look of a clean black vehicle. I used to own a black truck, and it looked great when it was clean. 5 minutes later however..... If I own another black vehicle, it will probably be matte black.

I've got Sparkling Graphite, and it shows dirt too. Not as bad as black, but easier than I thought it would. But I'm not a "detail the car every other day" kind of guy, so I OK with it being a little dirty every so often.

Buy the color you love, unless you are a "detail freak."

Same reason why I didn't get black.. Dirt barely shows on Arctic metallic.. Silverstone M3 is a nice color, better than the black IMHO.

BMw black is the worst possible color to have. Paint is super soft.

+1, this means that you will get many... many many rock chips, BMW's paint is vulnerable to small paint chips, but because the paint is so soft, it's resistant to the bigger ones that eventually crack and bubble.

Well I'm biased but you have to learn to either:
1) Wash your car alot
or
2) Let it be dirty often

But I will say this - when clean, nothing beats a black color car. Super shiny at night/dusk and looks like a mirror during the day.

This is also true.
