Don't have my car yet, but I typically wash my cars every 2 weeks and less during the winter rainy season.

Averaging a little less than twice a week. My sister said "you can't keep it clean forever." I plan to prove her wrong for as long as I keep my car.

Once a week, got the program down pat and it takes me about 60-70 minutes:
  • Vacuum interior
  • Spray wheels on one side with Griots wheel cleaner or P21S. Wash wheels with a sponge and soapy water made with Zaino wash. Rinse. Repeat on other side of car.
  • Wash car with fresh bucket of Zaino wash and Griot's boar's hair brush
  • Rinse well
  • Dry car using 2 microfiber big blue towels; dry wheels last
  • Apply Zaino Z6 with clean cotton cloth, lightly buffing with another cotton cloth
  • Do windows and mirrors with 3M Glass Cleaner and small micro-fiber towel
  • Admire car
.

i wish i could clean my car more often. i live downtown and don't really have a decent spot to clean it. i end up at my parents house for most big cleanings. thinking of buying a house just so i can have a garage and driveway to wash my car in. i have all my zaino gear ready to go, just waiting for a decent day to do it, and a day i can take over my parents garage. fun stuff.

Well I have washed my car every day since the day i got it, except for one day when it just sat in my driveway. I hate seeing my baby dirty so, after I get home from taking my sister to school I let my car cool off for about an hour or so and then I wash her and wax her and clean the rims. I have been making a serious efort to keep my engine bay detailed and I have been doing pretty good with keeping the interior spotless! Its so worth the time though, In the week that I have had it I have gotten so much attention (a girl flashed me at a redlight, people keep giving me thumbs up, etc...) Its so nice to feel the love LOL

In high school, I lived in NY and had a '99 MB C230 Sport... and I used to clean it for hours in the driveway.
Unfortunatly, 6 years later, I now live in a nice apartment complex that lacks any kind of hose. I am switching from a '04 X3 3.0 to a '06 330i.
I didn't really wash the X3 much, but with the new 330, I plan to return to my obsessive car cleaning days

I tried to wash it once a week. Because I washed it once a week, I really don't care to wash it after a rain storm. I guess I need to wash it every day before some girl flash me...
