not sure how the statement can be seperated into two parts, but I'll go with fuel limitation.

My assumption would be that the O2 attentuation as well as fuel pressure adjustments would be lessened while the Methanol is flowing. There is less need for additional fuel from the DME.

If the flow stops and you are still under boost, O2 sensor attenuation and fuel pressure adjustment change to aid the DME into adding more fuel as well as retarding timing.

In cabin LED will help verify it is spraying while in WOT. I have a hard time trusting that the computer will shut things down on it's own if there's an issue. I'm probably just being paranoid, but.......

Hey Shiv,

Can you do one for 93oct. + meth for those of us with access to higher octane? Also, when is the meth kicking in or is it progressive? I want to get an idea of how much meth usage is required. Thanks!

Ok thats what I thought. The first time I read it I thought he was saying that the fueling was adjusted to be the same as the fail safe map, which would obvisouly be too rich. It was just a little hard to understand the first time I read it. Thanks for the clarification.

I could do a 93oct tune but there will be no difference. The octane enhancing effect of the meth is that significant. Not even worth distinguishing between 91 and 93oct. And the kit is fully progressive. Not going to disclose anything more than the current jet size at this time (it's an m7). Once we are done, we'll list all the specs (pump pressure, initial injection psi, full injection psi, failsafe trigger threshold, etc,. That way people can either buy our methanol kit or piece together their own that fit the same exact specs.

Cheers,
Shiv

PS. Just drove the car home from the dyno shop. And by god, is it fasts. Faster and more responsive than the full-on MS109 race gas tune. And with perfect run-to-run consistency and complete immunity to heatsoak. And the transition from off-meth to on-meth is perfectly transparent.

Can you show the datalog of the IAT for the dyno pull? Possibly against rpm and boost. Or will we have to wait for that?

Here are some dyno results...

Uncorrected results:

STD Corrected results:

And, for those who care, this is with smoothing set to zero:

Here's a PROcede datalog of one of those runs:

Here's a OBD2 log of ignition timing vs. RPM:

Thanks.... Debug Word 4 is Wastegate DC %. And Test Analog input 1 is fuel pressure voltage.

An IAT that decreaseas throughout the run.......very useful in my climate considering its still 70+ degrees in January. Perfect to battle DCI's biggest drawback.

Shiv can you at least give us a ball park figure of what YOUR system is going to cost us, and will the old V3 users be able to use this without the Rev II?
I want this but if I have to get the new RevII to enjoy this, I will be thrown out of the house and be living with you soon!!!

As with every single PROcede feature available right now, it is compatible with both Rev.1 and Rev.2. Doesn't make a difference. As for cost, it's still undetermined. I'm not going to say much more than I need to for now. Considering the follow-the-leader/copy-cat climate in this market

Could be worth it, depending on when you would kill him.
