anyone on 294 late saturday night in a e92 335 going 120+ for a long time around lake cook road... holy shit man if your out there i cannot believe you were going that fast for so long!!!! i caught up in the loaner car when i saw you coming up in the rear at about 120 in a 335xi e90 loaner... but damn bro you were flying... who the hell was chasing your ass!!!! it wasn't a little spurt you were going for miles that speed then you disappeared!!! i was in shock i haven't seen a car go that fast for that long in forever!!! and i am on the road in peak time to do so all the time and i see people racing all the time... but you were FLYING!!!! no chip cause i was on your ass i would have blown by you in the dinan but damn i was shocked it is cop central over there!!!! what the hell were you thinking?

thats how I drive, but I have a sedan. I drive by there all the time... On 94 by fields BMW, there is a nice straight away just north of old orchard to central ave where there are never cops, thats a good place to hit 150. Same on 290 heading east near 83, you can hit 150 there too.

On 290... After the Lake Street Exit and around the next bend heading east, they sit on the far right side. So you have from 83 to that bend to let is loose.

actually there are cops sitting on the tower ramp and they sit just past the 294 spur on the right side both going north.. and of course the lake cook ramp going north bound there is always a cop on the right side of that on ramp.. mostly going 70 won't get you into trouble..i still slow to just below 70 there.. usually i am going 80-85 on the edens. it makes me livid when someone is in the left lane and not passing.. i don't care if your going 65 and it's 10 over the speed limit.. pass dammit!!!! oh and i forgot at the old orchard on ramp going north i sometimes see state troopers sit there.. but we all know 90% of the time you are in the clear going all the way from the junction to lake cook. but they are out there from time to time.

^ yep. I used to fly up there with my buddy in his M3 in HS to indoor soccer up at 41 sports club. that was until we hit 125 and almost got hauled off to jail one night on the way back for wreckless driving. Good thing his dad was a lawyer.

my record from downtown loop to my home in Bloomingdale was in 12 min. It was 3am on a tuesday morning and I was actually haveing a diabetic spell and need to get my med so I had a real excuse. Luckly no cars on the road.

I hit that same run (to north Arlington Heights) in a hair under 2 hours in my craptacular Toyota Tercel during my senior year of high school in 1993. Engine kept heating up.
