BMW DVD player? Not a chance. It won't be able to play DTS surround and most importantly, it won't play imitation DVD (Due to region protection).

People around the world are shopping for imitation DVD here in Indonesia. only 50 cent a piece for a high quality brand new movies that're on the theatre right now (or even not yet in theatre). Usually the DVD is for the consideration of Oscar nominee or other awards so the quality is no question the best (Not sure how they got it though). No wonder why most new Hollywood films here are premiered the same time as in the US. I guess they want to get as many people to the theatre and not losing them watching imitation DVD . But yet the most luxurious movie theatre here is only about 15 bucks pax. There you get individual sofa + you can order your food in there. Life's good.

Hifi theft... yeah... it was popular in the past like 10 years ago in here... I didn't hear much of it anymore... I guess it will take too much time to steal it... + people here are quite anarchist, if they found a thief, they will kill him on the spot (or at least near death )... This is for real.. Saw it on TV every day... The law enforcement are not fast enough to stop it... It's jungle rule if you wanna call it...

The thiefs in here are mostly target high end Japanese cars such as Harrier (RX300), Alphard, Odyssey, and such because they are much more in population than european cars. Believe it or not, they steal the side mirrors. FYI, they can sell it for $150 a piece or as high as $300 for the one with side camera. I guess it's faster cash for them than stealing Headunits.

I try man.. everytime I tried to find a spot closest to the entrance where there're more people in and out.. still can't guarantee though... But I think most importantly is where you going... In high end malls, it's less likely to happen since security is everywhere and always keep an eye on everybody on foot. I guess they learned something from the number of terorist car bombing years back.

How about Singapore, I bet it's pretty safe there... But do you still use car to get around? I thought MRT is a way to go..

yup singapore is pretty safe. not heard of people stealing head units here. nevertheless, i keep most of my stuff in the boot when i leave the car. my roof top alpine monitor folds up and is concealed in my toyota corolla.

For those who didn't know, M-sport steering wheel won't fit perfectly with the regular sport steering cover. In my case, I use the titanium sport cover just to match the interior theme better. As in pic, It's barely noticable unless you feel it with fingers.

hi 2323. u answered my question, have always wondered whether sports steering cover could fit the m wheel.
u could still stick a m sticker at the bottom of your steering wheel cover. alternatively, u could spray your orig m cover titanium.

I'm not intending to put any M logo on the car. That's why I didn't order M steering cover at the first place. + the price just don't do me any justice.

I wonder if the M cover can fit the regular Sport wheel.

As HRC stated, it's relocated into the center console under the arm rest. I think there's pic on the first part of this thread. Thanks for asking.

You can check realoem.com to find the correct type for your car or click Here

The part I use is: 32306771101 (Titan finish, Non multi function)

You might want to consider the new 335i steering cover instead, You know the black with silver accent on the bottom. Not sure about the part number though (Not yet in realoem.com).
