If she knows how to drive stick - fuck man, let her. It's just a car and she is your woman.

If she doesn't know how to drive stick - uh, no. Tell her you need to learn on something else first and then you'd be glad to let her drive yours.

Dude, it's just a car. Let her drive it if you really care about your gf's feelings. Grow up and never compare human being (especially loved one) to a piece of metal (even expensive one).

Wow dude, pretty sad. So you got a new car.....yeah we all know how it feels, but it's just a car.

If I were you I would have let her drive a few miles, then switched back and maybe she'd make your driving experience on the way home that much better.

....But you failed....guess you're not getting some for awhile.

Seriously though, I don't blame you, I love my girlfriend to death but there's no way she's getting behind the wheel of my E92. She's run over way too many curbs in her 4Runner!

Dude - as long as she's not some 16 year old who just got her license, you should have just let her take it for a spin. This is a BMW, not some exotic, rare car.

I actually encourage my girl to drive my Z4 - I kind of like the way she works the stick

on a more serious note I completely agree with this...

she wants to drive your car, let her drive it... and then let her drive you when you get home

How long have you been dating this girl?

If it's more than two years then let her drive, if it's been only two weeks I wouldn't even worry about it.
