Delivery Dates with Comfort Access?

I placed my order on July 18th to take advantage of the price protection with CA as one of my options. Of course, at the time of the order I knew I was in for a wait because CA is a September production item. However, as of today I still have no scheduled production date and my SA tells me that BMW has not started the production run with CA yet. Bottom line is I'm looking more like end of October beginning November! The wait is starting to get to me!

Anybody else having the same problem?

I think your SA is feeding you some BS.

I have a 330xi on order, including CA as an accessory. The order was submitted late July. I called today and the automated order tracking system informed me that my car is in production with an expected completion date of September 15th. I'm hoping it will be ready to pick up at the dealer's by mid-October.

I definitely think you are right about my SA. I'm so f***ing annoyed! I will definitely reference the 330xi with CA already in production! WTF?!?

I placed my order with CA 3 weeks ago and it is in production now. Are you using the OC info or the 1-800 number? I found that the OC info was never updated but the # was always correct.

Do you have a Prod # yet at least? I am scheduled for Oct. production and have my Prod #.

I do at least have a production number, however, I still have not received a "scheduled production date." I am now on a quest. I will get my SA to get some better information!

I have prod # and VIN and I ordered about 2 weeks ago. My dealer told me that I got the dead-last spot for september production with an ETC of September 15th. I should then be able to get it from PCD early to mid October. I guess I was lucky. Your SA is definitely giving you BS, especially if you ordered in Juy. If you don't have a production # by now, you should go with another dealer. Even if you have to play the waiting game again. I would much rather give my money to someone who will bend over backwards to help me than someone who is giving me false info.

Good to know that you have a Prod # now!
That's definitely a start.

Here is a Comfort Access question guys!
I noticed that if you have comfort access you dont have the "keyhole" on the drivers door?? Is that right? So then HOW do we close the windows and sunroof if we cant use the key???????

The buttons on the remote still work, just press and hold them. But with CA, you grab the door and hold it for a few seconds and it closes them.

I got Oct 7th but then I couldn't make it so changed it to Oct 14. And my car was finished last Friday with CA. So your CA is full of it..

So am I right that there is no keyhole? on the drivers door? When you watch the video here of CA you can see there is no Keyhole... I just wanted to make sure you can still close the windows and sunroof outside the car...
